A hospital pharmacy is a professional that wishes to work or be associated with a hospital, at a hospital you work as a team with the doctors and nurses. You work with the doctors and nurses to provide them with effective advice about the medicine they have prescribed. Industrial pharmacy would be a person that is also interested in research, it also allows them to work for the pharmaceutical companies, but this job is more like a scientist, they can also conduct various experiments and analyze the results. Academic pharmacy, are the pharmacist that like to teach academic pharmacy, and it combines teaching and research, they can also have a great career with most universities. Retail pharmacy, Are in stores they are authorized distributors of medicine, so basically when you go to a store like wal-mart or any other store that has a pharmacy in it, you could get your prescription while you do you grocery shopping. Community Pharmacies are just that they are pharmacies in your community, there just like the retail pharmacy just a little more quite. Regulatory pharmacies work with the government agencies to protect and improve public health. They also make sure that the drug companies make safe medications before letting them market them to people. There is also veterinary pharmacies that deal with medication for animals, so if you like animal and want to give them safe and effective medicines this would be the pharmacy career for you.
