Preparing for an Interview

You may have seen many people being tensed when going to attend an interview. They may nearly have a nervous breakdown getting worried about the interview and about performing in it. But, the question is why be tensed? When you have been selected for an interview, it implies that you have the capability to get into the organization.
Most of the people get worried about attending the interview rather than the formalities before it. While, on the other hand, there are others who get tensed about the formalities before getting selected for the interview, but not about the interview itself. There is a difference in both the attitudes and each shoes the attitude of the people to a situation.
The former category belongs to the people who are not confident about their capabilities and are nervous that their weaker side would be exposed to the interviewer, while the people belonging to the second category are those who are confident that they can win the confidence of the interviewer. You can see both these kinds of people when going for an interview.
The advice for the first category people would be to remain calm and confident. It may be easy to say than do, but it is not exactly impossible. You should learn how to become detached from the whole proceedings and be cool when asked questions. True, you may not be able to remember everything they ask, but remember to collect your wits and answer smartly to whatever they ask.
If you don’t know something then just say, “I am sorry sir, but I don’t remember that part clearly”. Remember that you are the master of the game; you can reject them as much as they can reject you. Keep this in mind and you would feel yourself getting very confident.
